The first day done

well, the only weird and wonderful people i met today were other staff, not a patient in sight for me.

The day was spent firstly in a warm little room with lots of paperwork and then the rest of the day cruising the division in on of the response cars- taking the opportunity as as an ECA i won't be solo responding anywhere, but it was nice to drive. A whistle stop tour of all the various stations and hospitals we may be going to. and that was about it.

Tomorrow see's a full 12 hour shift starting at 7am as an extra person on a proper ambulance, as today seemed quiet i have no doubt tomorrow won't be. Oh well, its nice to be out in this weather

The start of something new

Having spent 7 weeks at training school, i now have less than 24 hours until i'm out on the road for real. The streets of the West midlands won't be safe again.Since there are so many people asking to know what stupid/funny things we go and deal with, i thought that i should setup a blog- don't expect it to be regular, it'll just be as and when. I don't intend on offending anyone but if i do i'm sorry in advance
